You do not need to be referred for Osteopathic treatment, but bringing copies of any scan reports or blood test results can be useful. If it’s thought Osteopathy is not suitable for you, you can be referred to your GP for further investigations or treatment. Your details are all confidential, so if a letter is required for another healthcare professional, your written consent is required.

CAN I BE TREATED THROUGH MY INSURANCE PROVIDERS?

Zoë is registered to provide treatments through Simply Health, Aviva and WPA. Please contact your insurance provider to confirm you are covered and mention this when booking your first appointment. If you have any questions, feel free to call.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY APPOINTMENT?

You will be asked to undress down to your underwear in your appointment to allow a thorough assessment of your symptoms and therefore a more effective treatment. If you would feel more comfortable, then please bring shorts to wear. You are more than welcome to bring a friend or family member as a chaperone if you wish.

DO I NEED TO BE REFERRED/DO I NEED A SCAN OR X-RAY BEFORE TREATMENT?

“I visited Zoë for help with an aching hip and leg. Her assessment, treatment and advice were absolutely spot on! After two sessions and following her advice I am now able to walk perfectly again - and with no pain. Thanks so much Zoë! Highly recommended!”
